tldr;
$150
The total cost is $150. You will be asked to pay a non-refundable $50 retainer when you sign the contract and fill out the questionnaire. This holds and confirms your session slot. The remaining balance can be split into payments, but must be paid in full 48 hours before your session.
5 Images included
You will receive an online gallery with all of the professionally retouched digital files. Each file will be watermarked. You will be asked to choose your 5 favorite images. (If you fall in love with more than 5, you will have the option to purchase additional images, or upgrade to the entire gallery for an additional fee)
30 Min Sessions
Let me know what date and approximate time that works for you, and I will let you know what slots are available! Each slot will be private, and run for 30 minutes.
Professional posing
From head to toe, I will be coaching you on how to pose, fixing the little things, and making sure the story we tell is true to you. Don’t know what to do with your hands? I got you.
holiday photos don’t have to always involve uncomfortable matching pajamas or jolly old men in red…
I mean, they can…no judgment here, but for those who could do without, I have other options.
For one weekend in November, I’ll be back inside a gorgeous Gothic Victorian home in Richmond, making holiday portraits for some great people who want something a little more strange, a little less jolly, or just a little more them.
You can come by yourself or bring your partner(s). Heck, you can bring the kids, your best friend, your chosen family, or really anyone you’d like to be forever documented beside you this year. Due to limited space inside the home, there is a limit of 3 adults total, or 2 adults and up to 2 children (sorry, no pets allowed at this time).
Dress all the way up. Keep it simple. Lean into the Gothic Christmas of it all, or don’t.
There aren’t a whole lot of rules here.
Galleries will take up to 4 weeks to be delivered. I will send you a link to a private online gallery where you can review and choose your five favorites!. (If choosing only five turns out to be an unreasonable thing I’ve asked of you, you’ll have the option to upgrade your gallery for an additional fee)
Sessions are available November 7th & 8th only, with a limited number of appointments each day.

You don’t have to become someone else to be worth photographing.
There isn’t some “better” version of you that you need to chase after before you’re worthy of being seen and celebrated. You don’t need to show up more confident, more comfortable, or already knowing what to do in front of the camera. I only ask that you show up. You.
I don’t aim create images of who you’re expected to be. I aim to create artful, soul-filled evidence of who you already are; the quirks, the strength, the certainty, the contradiction, and everything else that has carried you here. I can’t wait to hear your story.

the answer is: it depends. (and yes, i know that’s annoying)
Black is always welcome.
Velvet, lace, jewel tones, vintage pieces, dramatic formal wear: all excellent choices.
But you are under absolutely no obligation to dress like you’re haunting a Victorian castle….unless you want to.
If you’re super sold on the idea but have no idea what direction you want to take, just try to think about how you want these photos to feel, and start there. Once you’re booked, I’m also happy to help guide you.
Where are we doing this?
Sessions will take place inside a private Gothic Victorian home in the Richmond area. Because it is a private residence, the exact address and arrival information will be sent directly to booked clients before the event.
